To patch CVE-2026-31431, "Copy Fail," some emergency maintenance was done to ensure all packages were up to date and that the OS was also on the latest version. This does drop DE-1 below 100% uptime, but this is not a hardware failure. It is simply just not pre-planned due to the risk from delaying it. Only the two indicated nodes restarted; Fafnir maintained its uptime.
